Our sandwiches were simply wrapped in craft paper, which served as our plates. We unwrapped them and dug in. They were an instant hit. The plump shrimp were so barely breaded and fried without any residual grease. The baguette was crusty and chewy. The toppings perfect and fresh. The mayo and Louisiana hot sauce combined for a creamy, mild heat. Sublime. Simple. We don’t know if Guy’s has the best po-boys in the city, and indeed have already been challenged for saying so on Facebook, but they were so good, it would be hard do do better.
