The actor, who largely did bit parts in the 1960's and 1970's (with one-off appearances on shows of that era), lived here. He did have a starring role in the very short-lived mid-1960's series "O.K. Crackerby", and his biggest break was a role in the ensemble cast of the 1970 movie "Kelly’s Heroes". He owned this Coldwater Canyon property until his death at age 48 in 1986. It is also rumored that the writer/psychologist/futurist/LSD guru Timothy Leary may have once inhabited this residence as well.
