Halnaker Windmill and WWII anti aircraft battery

Halnaker windmill was built in 1750 by the Duke of Richmond and Gordon. She stands at a height of 400 feet (121 metres) above sea level on the South Downs near Chichester and hasn't milled corn since 1905, when she was badly damaged during a storm.

She is one of the oldest surviving windmills in Sussex and was once painted by Turner himself.
