Several classes of stock cars race on this 3/8 mile high-banked red clay oval track on Saturday nights.
Racing here dates back to the 1940's on a 1/2 mile dirt track known as Hillview Speedway. In Google Maps, you can make out the footprint of the 1/2 mile track next to the existing circuit.
In the 60's and 70's, a 3/10 mile paved track was created here. In the early 80's, the current clay track replaced the paved one. It has also gone by the names of Harris Motor Speedway and Tri-County Motor Speedway.
