Hashima Island (abandoned) (StreetView)
Hashima Island (端島?, or correctly Hashima, as -shima is Japanese for island), commonly called Gunkanjima (軍艦島; meaning Battleship Island), is one among 505 uninhabited islands in the Nagasaki Prefecture about 15 kilometers (9 miles) from Nagasaki itself.

The 1949 film Midori Naki Shima (The Greenless Island) was shot on Hashima Island. The island has been shown in numerous films, including the 2012 James Bond film Skyfall, in which it appears as the lair for villain Raoul Silva.
