Heidelberger Brückenaffe - Hiedelberg Bridge Monkey

There has been a monkey sitting at the foot of this bridge since at least 1481.

The originally stone sculpture was destroyed during the Nine Years' War.

This bronze statue sculpted by Gernot Rumpf was unveiled in 1979.
