'Helicopter House' by Beverley Thorne
This spec home was called the helicopter house due to the fact that as a publicity stunt, a helicopter landed on the large flat roof and sprayed loose gravel in every direction into the crowd. The house remained open for paid admission for months as a tourist attraction.
