Description:Emperor Francis Joseph gave the Hermesvilla to Empress Elisabeth in the hope of persuading his wife – a keen traveller – to spend more time in Vienna.
Empress Elisabeth once called the the Hermesvilla "Palace of Dreams".

The Villa was built between 1882-1886.
