Delford ("Del") Smith founded Evergreen Helicopters in 1960, a company that was to evolve into Evergreen International Aviation. Evergreen Air is most notably known as the "CIA airline" during the Vietnam conflict and other shady US government operations. The Evergreen Air and Space Museum is the home of Howard Hughes' famous plywood cargo plane, the Spruce Goose. Delford M. Smith died in 2014 and left behind this palatial estate located on the Willamette River, in Oregon state, USA. Dundee Oregon is also the home of numerous wineries.
