The Honda CR-Z was designed as a hybrid successor to the CR-X, released in 2010. It was Honda's third hybrid that offered a manual transmisson, after the 1st-generation Insight and the 2003-2005 Civic Hybrid. North American models were 2-seaters, while to the rest of the world, it was a 2+2.
