House with a very large roof has a chair at the very top. Every 1 to 2 years, the chair is replaced, usually due to weathering or being blown away by wind. There are many rumors about the origin, one being that the owner would climb the roof and sit on the chair, others that it was put atop so Santa Claus could rest.
