Ingrid Flick's House

The widow of Austrian billionaire Friedrich Flick Jr. owns this nearly 20,000 sq. foot home in the Palm Desert resort community of Indian Wells, CA. Her late husband's business empire derived partly from large stakes in Daimler-Benz and W.R. Grace. At the time of his death in 2006, Forbes estimated Flick had a net worth of more than $6 billion, the majority of which was inherited by Ingrid.

The Flicks paid approximately $6.2 million for the home in 1998, after which they extensively renovated and expanded it.
