Site of drone testing in Iran. The drone, seen on one side of the runway on a rail launcher, is part of the Mohajer series of Iranian drones. The "command and control" vehicle is on the other side of the runway.

Just a little to the east is a small launch pad that has been used to fire ASMs, could be that this is related and UAV is used for targeting.

Strictly speaking I didn't find it all by myself. A friend in the biz had mentioned this location, so I had the location but really no info. After a bit of Googling I found the web site that talked about all three sites in this series (drone, frigates, sub).
