"Irish" Research Site

Part of the Newport Research Facility, site Irish is primarily used to gather antenna pattern and coverage data on airframes. It is associated with the Tanner site 1.5 miles away.

The USGS Newport topo quad describes this as the Newport Test Annex.

This is a "boneyard". The test facility is up the road to the northeast.
