Janes Elementary School

Janes, located on the north side of Racine, WI in the older downtown lakefront and historic and industrial center of Racine. Janes was the first school in Wisconsin to offer year-round education. Students attend school for 60 days and then have vacation for 20 days. Janes offers a bilingual program for K-grade 5, and its PreK to Grade 5 program is a unique approach to addressing educational needs of economically disadvantaged elementary students.
