Jason Hope is a tech entrepreneur who was in the process of building a 100,000 sqft estate on this 14 acre property. Construction ceased in 2011 when the Texas Attorney General and Verizon filed lawsuits against Hope's company, Jawa, alleging that the company created a scheme which cost Verizon subscribers millions of dollars.
The home was to encompass 9 building connected by tunnels, a man-made river, the first residential IMAX theater, indoor bowling alley, and spa.
Hope hosted a Christmas party in the completed part of the home in 2010 which was attended by Snooki from Jersey Shore and Caitlyn Jenner (Bruce Jenner at the time).
The property was sold for $5M in early 2016.
