Description:In the height of the Cold War, the town of Jeffrey City in Wyoming was the site of the Split Rock Mill (providing uranium to the US government) and home to thousands of people. When Western Nuclear (the mill operator) shut it down and demolished it in 1981, Jeffrey City became a modern ghost town.
