Jere R. Hausfater is the former CEO at Essential Entertainment, a film financing and distribution company behind such films as Defiance, Fireflies in the Garden, and The Informers. He left the company in October.
Formerly, he served as executive vice president at Miramax International and head of worldwide sales and acquisitions at Intermedia. He also served as senior executive at Buena Vista International.
