I worked at titan as a shipper / receiver years ago .
I remember Jim Carrey hanging out in the security office after school . In this office is where we would print weight scale tickets for shipments going across the U.S. border .
So ,the office was secure . It was also beside a employee exit .
The day shift usually ended at 4 pm . While behind secure glass window , he would imitate monkey sounds as the exhausted , underpaid workers shuffled out the door .
I couldn't believe what he was doing and thought one of the workers would break the glass and strangle him at any time !
Next thing I know , he's in a movie making monkey sounds . ( pet detective )

I lived in the 1861 James Weir farmhouse before Jim Carrey's family. My Dad was the one who 'modernized' it by putting in extensive plumbing, etc. and It was moved 400 ft West of it's original site. My Mom remembers one night alone with me just a baby. There was a covered staircase leading from outside that led to the root cellar. As she sat in the kitchen she heard the heavy wood doors creak open followed by footsteps. Then she heard the footsteps coming UP the wood stairs to the kitchen.. She was alone in the house with only the basement door separating her from whatever was waiting on the other side.. After waiting in terror she actually went downstairs to the basement to investigate. She said the agony of waiting was worse than just confronting 'IT'. Wonder if Jim or his family met the ghost? They were there around the early1970's.

My Grandmother was born in this house, when it was still a farm. Small world.!
