The wealthy antiques dealer lived here and died in the front doorway. To the left of the front entrance is were he killed Danny Hansford in 1981 which later became subject of the best selling book and Clint Eastwood film, "Midnight In The Garden Of Good & Evil". His sister Dorothy owns the home today. It was also featured in a scene from the movie "Glory" in 1989 with Morgan Freeman and Matthew Broderick.
