Jimmy Page, the lead guitarist for Led Zeppelin bought the house in 1967 for £6,000. He met with Robert Plant at the house to get to know the singer before the band formed. After John Paul Jones and John Bonham joined the band the house was used for rehearsals. Page sold the house in 1984. The house is currently for sale again for over a million pounds.
