John "Casey" Jones' Home

John "Casey" Jones' Home (StreetView)
This is the home Casey shared with his wife, Janie, and their 3 children. This is not the original site of course, it was moved here to be part of the museum. The home was located at 211 W. Chester Street in downtown Jackson.

Jones was born near Cayce, Kentucky, which is how he got the nickname "Casey". He was a respected Engineer, and has been immortalized as a folk hero and legend. He is still referenced in media to this day.
