John Caudwell's 50,000 sqft Mansion

John Caudwell is an English businessman and philanthropist who has made his fortune in the mobile phone business. In 2012, Forbes estimated Caudwell's net worth at $2.6 billion, and ranked him the 464th richest person in the world, 13th in the UK.

Caudwell has had plans approved to link his 22,000 sqft mansion (the white one) to his 14,000 sqft townhouse (located directly east of the main mansion) via a 14,000 sqft underground "personal leisure complex", including a games room, swimming pool, sauna, salon, media room, plant room and car part. A lower ground floor would feature bedrooms, staff rooms, security rooms along with two suites and a laundry room.

The combined 50,000 sqft property will be will be larger than a football field and only slightly smaller than Westminster Cathedral once finished.

He bought the two properties in 2012 for £81M. The completed property will be worth an estimated £250M.
