The founder of hedge fund JMB Capital Partners purchased this home in 2012. He also owns the larger home next door, which he purchased from Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt in 2006. Brooks spent just over $30M on the two homes. Prior to forming JMB, he was head trader at Cerberus Capital for a number of years.

Brooks also has property in Malibu.
