Jonathan Sturges House is an early and well-preserved nineteenth century gothic revival cottage. It was designed by Joseph Collins Wells and built in 1840. Jonathan Sturges was a business man and patron of the arts. He was also the grandson of Jonathan Sturges, a member of the Continental Congress.

The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1994.
