Kaj (the frog) and Andrea (the parrot) are two puppets from Danish National TV DR invented by Hanne Willumsen and Kjeld Nørgaard in 1971 with their voices. Andrea appeared on TV March 8. 1971 at 9:30AM, Kaj on November 22. 1971. 1975 DR stopped the shows and that the viewers were mad and made protests but with no luck. 1996 they appeared again and have been on TV regularily. The old shows however are still shown.
Kaj loves Jazz and Andrea loves soft music.
Today they are still used in childrens TV and are cults for people in Denmark of all ages. Everyone knows the songs they sing in the shows.
