Knox County Fairgrounds race track

During the Knox County Fair, this 1/2 mile dirt oval track has been used for harness horse racing and auto racing. The fair has been held here since 1851. Cars first took to the track in the 1930's.

The track has previously gone by the following names:
Knoxville Motor Speedway, I-74 Speedway, 74 Raceway, Knox County Speedway, and Knoxville Speedway
