Kossuth House

From www.kossuthhouse.org:

The Kossuth House, located at 2001 Massachusetts Avenue, is owned by the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America. The building serves as the Home Office of this 108-year old fraternal life insurance society since 1986.

Apart from being used as an office space, the building hosts an exhibition of memorabilia items related to the 1851-52 journey of Lajos (Louis) Kossuth to America. Kossuth, a great Hungarian freedom fighter, was often called the "Father of Hungarian Democracy."
