This 3/8 mile dirt oval track was originally 1/2 mile when it was created in 1951 at the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds. The track was shortened in 1991. Several classes of WISSOTA stock cars race here on Thursday nights. The current track name refers to the Kandi Racing Association, a non-profit organization that runs the track. It previously had been named Kandi Raceways, Willmar Raceway, and Willmar Speedway.
