Description: The Kurfürstliches Schloss : close to the bridge over the Rhine stands the electoral palace in the typical Rhineland's early Neo-Classical architectural style. Clemens Wenzeslaus von Sachsen, the last elector of Trier, had it built and lived here for a short while. The construction started in 1777 and was finished in 1786. The design was made by Michael d'Ixnard.
