Description:Kvernes Stave Church (Norwegian: Kvernes stavkyrkje) is a stave church located along the Kvernesfjord in the village of Kvernes in the municipality of Averøy in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It was probably built in the first half of the 14th century. In 1894, it was put up for sale and was bought by a group of individuals who donated it as a gift to Fortidsminneforeningen.
