Lakhdaria Telecommunications Facility

Since the 1970s, a satellite communications center has been operating in Lakhdaria, with several giant satellite dishes that the locals call "the radar". This center is for national terrestrial television and digital and telephone communications. The site is located in a small valley at the eastern entrance of the city and it communicates with facilities located on the top of the mountain "Lalla Moussaad" that dominates the city.
