This Beverly Hills home was once rented by actress Lana Turner. It was also the location of the murder of Turner's boyfriend, Johnny Stompanato.
On the evening of April 4, 1958, Turner and Stompanato began a violent argument in Turner's house. Fearing for her mother's life, Turner's 14 year old daughter, Cheryl, grabbed a kitchen knife and ran to Turner's defense, stabbing and killing Stompanato. It was later deemed a justifiable homicide.
The house once belonged to the late television host Merv Griffin.
