The Landsort Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in Sweden. It is located on the Stockholm archipelago near the village of Landsort. The original lighthouse dated back to 1651 and the current to 1840. During WWII and the Cold War the area around the lighthouse operated as a base for the Swedish coastal artillery.
