464th TRANSPORTATION COMPANY (MEDIUM BOAT)
The 464th Transportation Company (Medium Boat) is one of two medium boat companies in the U.S. Army inventory, and the only Reserve component unit of its kind. The 464th provides logistics-over-the-shore inland waterway operations and harborcraft support capabilities utilizing LCM-8 landing craft. The 464th is a subordinate element of the 359th Transportation Battalion, located at Fort Eustis, Va. The 464th maintains two platoons at Fort Belvoir and a detachment at Fort Story, Va.
