Leaving the quarry ("The Walking Dead")

In the fifth episode of the first season, the survivors make the decision to try and read the CDC in Atlanta. They leave the quarry with the Morales family heading to Birmingham to try and reach family there and the remaining quarry survivors heading in the opposite direction.

This scene was filmed on Bob White Rd, off Riverside Parkway, in Austell, GA. It is around 15-20 miles from the location where the quarry scenes were filmed.
