Lewis A Sanders was the Chairman of the Board and CEO of AllianceBernstein, a New York City based investment management firm majority-owned by France's AXA.AllianceBernstein is based in New York, New York. It has approximately US$458 billion in assets under management as of May 31st, 2009. He retired from this position in December, 2008.
He is also the founder, CEO and Co-CIO of Sanders Capital, LLC, a value-oriented investment manager serving institutional and high net worth clients.
He intends to build on this property that he purchased for just under $25 million in 2005.
