Description:Former rocket test facility, operated by Lockheed. Clean-up of the site was delayed due to a potential threat to the federally protected Stephens kangaroo rat. It remains a vast, closed-off area, with a few test stands and industrial areas, unmanned and abandoned.

A second portion of the site can be found further south along Highland Springs Road.
