The Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial covers 113.5 acres and is the largest American World War II cemetery in Europe. Those interred died mostly in the fall of 1944 during the Drive to the Siegfried Line and were mainly part of the U.S. Third and Seventh Armies. The cemetery is administered by the American Battle Monuments Commission.
