This bronze bust was sculpted by Adolph Wolter and designed by Fred Wellman. It was unveiled in 1975 and serves as a centerpiece of a memorial to Louis Chevrolet (December 25, 1878 – June 6, 1941), a former Indy 500 competitor who co-founded the Chevrolet Motor Car Company in 1911.
