United States Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s house is a 10,900-square-foot mansion in Greensboro, NC. The house was purchased in 2005 for $5.9 million, at the time the most expensive home ever sold in Greensboro. Features include a two-story kitchen wing, a two-story cabana, and a pool. The original garage has been turned into an apartment and a new four-car garage has been built. The house had been on the market for two years, having been forfeited by its previous owner, Kenneth Kornfeld, whose company had been found liable for $1.12 billion related to insurance fraud.

In August, 2020, more than one hundred people showed up to DeJoy’s Greensboro home to protest the changes he had made to the United States Postal Service. These changes, which included banning overtime and removing sorting equipment, were seen as deliberate attempts to sabotage the postal service, slowing down mail and potentially disrupting mail-in ballots during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Louis DeJoy’s net worth is $110 million. He served as CEO of New Breed Logistics from 1983 to 2014. Aldona Wos served as US Ambassador to Estonia under George W. Bush. She and De Joy have twin children.
