It is closest to Meadows of Dan VA which is Rt 58 and the Parkway. From May-Oct, tere are mountain crafts demonstrations such as spinning, weaving, chair seat and basket making, and blacksmithing and corn grinding in the mill. There is also free live music and dancing on Sunday afternoons. In the general area, at Rocky Knob are several trails of different length and skill level; a large picnic area with large field for sports; camp ground and historic rental cabins. Shopping and music in nearby towns and two local wineries mean there's something for everyone.
