This is the filming location of the Kent family farm in the 2013 Superman film "Man of Steel", starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, and Russell Crowe. The nearby city of Plano, Illinois, was the filming location for several scenes in Clark Kent's hometown of Smallville.
Currently, scenes are being filmed here for the 2015 sequel titled "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", which will star Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader.
Note - the farmhouse and some of the structures seen in the film were built for the film and removed afterwards. They are visible in Google Earth's historical imagery (November 6, 2011).
