Description: The Mandalay Station features three generating units: two steam-powered units that were commissioned in 1959 and one jet engine-powered unit that was commissioned in 1970. Fueled by natural gas, the plant can contribute up to 560 megawatts of electricity. The state-of-the-art facility is among the first in the world to use selective catalytic reduction technology to minimize emissions.
