Manuel Diaz owns Manuel Diaz Farms, a tree nursery located in Homestead, FL.

Diaz, a personal friend of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush was awarded a contract to landscape a stretch of road in Miami. Diaz wound up shortchanging the taxpayers and using smaller and lower quality trees, thus making a huge profit at the taxpayers expense.
