Moroun is the billionaire owner of CenTra, Inc., the holding company which controls the Ambassador Bridge, the busiest border crossing between the U.S. and Canada. His bridge, which handles 8,000 trucks a day and $100 billion in trade every year, takes in about $60 million a year in tolls and another $15 million annually in gas and duty-free sales.
Forbes estimates his family's net worth at $1.1 billion.
