The obelisk is 72 feet tall & is the tallest tomb in the Chicago area. Wentworth wanted it to be unmarked, so people would have to ask who was buried there, but his family has the last name added onto the base in Bronze letters.
It's in the NE corner of Rosehill Cemetery & can been seen from outside the cemetery either from Peterson Ave. just west of Ravenswood Ave or in the winter while riding the Metra trains on the UP North line between the Ravenswood & Rogers Park stations.
