He served as Vice Chairman of GTE Corporation since October 1993 and Citigroup Inc. since 2002. He served as Vice Chairman of GTE Corporation, holding company of Contel Cellular Inc. since October 20, 1993. Mr. Masin has been a Director of Popular Inc. since January 25, 2007. He serves as a Director of Compania Anonima Nacional Telefonos de Venezuela (CANTV) and VenWorld. He serves as a Member of the Board of the Puerto Rican Communications Company. He served as a Director of Contel Cellular Inc. since 1991, Genuity Inc. since April 2000 and GTE Corporation since 1989. He served as Director of Telecomunicaciones de Puerto Rico Inc. He served as a Director of Citigroup Inc., TELUS Corporation (also known as BCT.TELUS Communications Inc.) and Verizon Communications Inc. Mr. Masin served as Director of Trust Company of the West (Los Angeles). He is a Trustee of The American University and Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He has been Representative Director of Verizon Wireless Capital LLC since April 2000. He serves as Chairman of Citigroup Foundation. He is a Member of the Board of Trustees of The Carnegie Hall Corporation. He serves as a Director of W. M. Keck Foundation and China America Society. He has been a Trustee of Weill Cornell Medical School since 2003 and Weill Family Foundation since 2002. He served as a Director at Popular, Inc.
