The property is owned by Michaele and Tareq Salahi. Check your facts with public records, phone records, news articles, etc.

I guess my prior posts, which were removed, violated the rules. So let's start again, being sure to stay on topic and not engage in personal attacks.

1. This property, Oasis Vineyard is not owned by those Salahis who have been so much in the news (and the courts).

2. The vineyard was never more than 5%-owned by Mr. Salahi, according to his parents' lawsuit against him.

3. In his parents' suit was a request that he be evicted from the vineyard.

4. The Salahis purchased a property in Linden in 2006, and subsequently sued their homeowners association after it tried to force them to pay their dues. The MRIS record of this $633,000 sale can be found by googling "WR5424275."

5. The Washington Post wrote a couple of long, devastating articles in late December, which form the basis for these statements.

The point remains: Tareq and his wife don't own this property, never owned this property, and likely never will own this property.

If this site's administrators review this post again, they should consider removing this location completely, since it is not what it purports to be, and in fact looks a lot like the Salahis' other efforts to aggrandize themselves.

Note the limos in the driveway. Tareq owns or owned a limo company.

Again, simply stated, no matter how self-aggrandizing a person may be, a phone company will not simply give phone numbers registered to an address they have no legal or business connection to.
Moreover, an individual can own as many properties as they like... such as the Salahi's property in Linden and another they have in Front Royal, VA.
Unless something can be shown that they paid off the phone company to create a ficticious phone number for a property they ARE connected to (Oasis Vineyards).
Finally, the link below shows numerous complaints lodged about the Salahi's which many include their address as 14139 and 13141 Hume Road as their address.

Sigh. It's so hard not to write something that would be seen as a personal attack.

As the Post article (which you should read, it's truly amazing) makes clear, the Sahalis did live at the Vineyard, and were forcibly removed by the elder Salahis, who had to sue to make their son and daughter-in-law leave THEIR property.

BTW, whitepages.com is hardly an authoritative source, as it clearly doesn't purge old data; it still lists me at my previous house, which I sold in 2007. Try it for somebody you know who moved a few years ago.

Read the Post article.
