Description:Firmino Tavares, 52, of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, was arrested at his luxury home on Northview St. on june 17 of 2008. Mr. Tavares, along with 3 other suspects were linked to more than 60 tonnes of cocaine smuggled into North America between 1996 and 2004. The charges were eventually dropped due to lack of evidence.
